Dantel Rüya Hood is a multidisciplinary creator born and raised in the Island City of Alameda, CA. She began producing local concerts and fashion shows at the age of 14, and was brought on as a Production Assistant for Discovery Channel's MythBusters while attending high school.
Graduating with a double major in a Bachelor of Arts from New York City's Fordham University, Dantel studied Communications & Media Studies with a concentration in Film, and French Area Studies. She spent a semester abroad in Dakar, Senegal in the Language and Culture program under the Council on International Educational Exchange in 2009.
Dantel has created high-level corporate, evocative, and family-friendly content with clients including Tastemade, IGN, CNN, and National Geographic. She continues to study and expand her’s and the public's understanding of the world's cultural and aesthetic possibilities through the conceptualization of both linear and interactive arts and media experiences.
